What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is rooted in the belief that the body has the ability to heal itself. Using a holistic, whole-body approach, Osteopathic Manual Practitioners use manual manipulations to better align the body, aiding its ability to heal itself. Osteopathy focuses on the whole body to promote overall health and wellbeing, alongside treating problem areas or concerns.

Olivia Barclay
Born and raised in the heart of tobacco country, Olivia has always had a passion for helping others. From her early days as a youth camp leader, she felt destined for a career that enabled her to better the lives of those around her. Olivia took her passion to Brock University where she graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Physical Education degree.
After graduating from Brock University, she was drawn to the field of Osteopathy because she had great personal results while being treated osteopathically for a hockey injury. She was quickly accepted into the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and graduated in 2019 with a Master in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc). She opened the doors to South Coast Osteopathy in the fall of 2019, where she currently practices.

“Liv has been great at re-constructing my posture to be more aligned that helps with back soreness and neck soreness. She always knows just where to make adjustments and I feel great and re-aligned when I leave. She has a knack for this profession!”

“I had no idea why I felt pain and discomfort and Olivia was not only able to figure me out, but also make me feel so much better. It was super relaxing and very interesting. Olivia is a great person to work with!”
- Ashley V
I had the privilege of taking part in her third year studies, she took great care getting me back walking without a nasty limp. I recommend if you are having issues to give her an opportunity to help you. Thanks Olivia!”
